Ingrid Edisen, owner of Silk Apron Catering, worked in the food industry for over thirty years. Now retired from active public food service, she writes her Tales of the Silk Apron blog from her kitchen in the heart of the Acadian region of the U.S. Having lived for over two decades in New Orleans and then almost forty years in Texas, she and her husband returned to Cajun Country to continue their sojourn and travels with food.
